At the ripe young age of 30 something, Debra Lee Murrow found herself depleted and searching for her purpose in life.  She found God, then discovered gifts that were hidden in her heart through Him.  You can read her complete testimony here.  That was back in 1997-2000.  Now, Debra Lee has a thriving business called Color Me Art Spa where she provides the canvas and others fill in their own artistic expression.

Color Me Art Spa exists to serve the community by inspiring young, middle aged and old to discover the artist within.  Debra offers her services through individual, small and large group events and you can get a glimpse of these here.

I think this is Pinterest worthy, don't you?  What's so cool about Debra Lee and her art is that she worked through a lot of stuff to become connected to God and her own gifts and talents. She credits God with giving her the inspiration to move forward in life and discover her true passions.  But she also did a lot of personal growth stuff to learn about herself and develop some great skills.

I love the word inspiration  Etymology:  c.1300, "immediate influence of God or a god," especially that under which the holy books were written…"from Old French inspiracion "inhaling, breathing in; inspiration," from Late Latin inspirationem (nom. inspiratio), noun of action from pp. stem of Latin inspirare "inspire, inflame, blow into," from in- "in" (see in- (2)) + spirare "to breathe" (see spirit). Literal sense "act of inhaling" attested in English from 1560s. Meaning "one who inspires others" is attested by 1867.

It's never too late to rise above the ashes.  If you have ever found yourself down and out and wondering if there's more to life than running around in circles (midlife bliss), settle down and begin to be inspired.  It may take you to Bali or New York City, but you need to "Get on The Bus" as my pastor likes to say.  Begin reading books, attending workshops and seminars, find a Bible. Jesus is calling you one way or another if you are searching.  He wants to give you a life of peace and joy.  Here are the fruits of His Spirit:

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Self-Control

The first three are like long-awaited gifts, the rest are like skills which can be cultivated!  By the way, Debra Lee offers a special Birthday Party wrapped around the Fruits of the Spirit!

If you live in the Phoenix metropolitan area and need someone to enhance an event, give Debra Lee a call.  She is now in her mid-40s, enjoying midlife and using her God-given gifts and talents to heal the world.

And for goodness' sake, please share this!
